Privacy
Last updated 3 November 2026. Draft: review before relying on it, and add the operator's name and contact address.
What we store
- Your email address and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself).
- The links and notes you save, and the titles, summaries and tags generated for them.
- A session record while you're logged in (expires after 30 days).
How it's used
Only to run Stash for you. Your items are private to your account. We don't sell data or show ads.
Who processes it
- Anthropic receives the text of each page you save, and your note, to write its summary and tags.
- piepod hosts the app and its database in Frankfurt, Germany.
- When you save a link, Stash's server fetches that page from its website.
Your controls
- Export: download everything you've saved as JSON from your account page.
- Delete: delete single items any time, or your whole account from your account page. Deletion is immediate. Database backups expire on their normal schedule.
